Start customizing your homepage

To start personalizing Kadaza, first open the Kadaza homepage.

Click the customize icon  to enter customization mode. Once customization mode is active, each block in the home dashboard can be edited. 

Add your own favorite websites

Click the pencil icon  on the block you want to change. A window will appear where you can enter a website address. Enter the URL of the website you want to add and the block will be updated automatically.

For example, you can replace a general news website with your preferred news source, add your favorite shopping website or include a local website that you visit regularly.

This makes your Kadaza homepage a personal overview of the websites you use most.

Move blocks with drag and drop

You can arrange your homepage exactly the way you prefer. Simply click and hold a block, then drag it to another position. Release the block when it is in the place where you want it.

For example, you might want to place your most frequently visited websites at the top of your homepage and less frequently used websites lower down. You can organize your page in any way that makes sense to you. 

Customize your background and appearance

Your personalized homepage is not only about websites. You can also change the way Kadaza looks. Choose from different backgrounds, colors, patterns and images to create a style that suits you. You can select a calm background, a colorful design or an image that matches your personal taste. New backgrounds are added regularly, so you can always give your homepage a fresh appearance.

Your customized background makes Kadaza feel like your own personal starting point for the web. Click "Change Background" on the homepage and choose from different themes such as nature, cities, animals and more.

Change your default search engine

Kadaza lets you choose which search engine you want to use from the search box on your homepage. You can change your default search engine by clicking the settings icon  on the Kadaza homepage and selecting your preferred search engine. This allows you to use the search service that best fits your preferences while keeping your personalized Kadaza homepage as your central starting point for the web.

Save your personalized homepage

Your personalized Kadaza homepage settings are automatically saved in your browser. This means you do not have to manually save changes every time you customize your page. 

You can also create a personal Kadaza URL that contains your homepage settings. A personal Kadaza URL is especially useful if you want to use your customized homepage on another device.  Click on the Link icon    on the homepage. Pushing that icon a specific Kadaza URL containing your selected settings will be generated. The generated URL can be directly set as your homepage or copied and used as a bookmark. Using this URL all of your preferences will be used the next time you visit Kadaza.
